Pay
After your service, inspection or repair is complete, pay by cash, card or BNPL.
All our mobile mechanics need to align your wheels is flat, stable ground – preferably a concrete or tarmac surface.
Once your vehicle is in the right spot, we’ll position it on turntables and place adaptors on each tyre.
Any wheel, chassis or ADAS misalignments will be instantly identified down to 2 decimal places – which we’ll then adjust and test with a sensor reset and on-road drive.
Wheel camber is the angle between ‘true’ vertical (straight up and down) and the vertical axis of your wheel.
True vertical is 0°. Positive camber is when the top of the wheel is further out from the car than the bottom (such as +0.8°). Negative camber is when the bottom of the wheel is further out from the car than the top (such as -0.8°).
Correct camber (as set by your vehicle’s manufacturer) helps make sure that the right amount of tread is in contact with the road, which affects braking, cornering, and tyre longevity.
Wheel caster is the angle between true vertical and the steering axis of your wheel.
Positive caster is when the wheel sits behind the steering axis.
Negative caster is when the wheel sits in front of the steering axis.
Incorrect camber can cause excessive tyre wear, unstable braking and turning, and overly aggressive or heavy steering.
Wheel toe is how much your wheels turn inwards or outwards when viewed from above.
Toe can be measured by checking the difference in length between the front and back edges of the rims on one axle.
It impacts your car’s straight-line stability, tyre wear, and cornering ability.
Thrust angle is the angle between your car’s centre line and the direction of the rear axle (as viewed from above).
The thrust angle of your vehicle should be 0°. Negative thrust (such as -0.5°) will cause your vehicle to drift left. Positive thrust (such as +0.5°) will cause your vehicle to drift right.

When a tyre is fitted to a wheel, there can be small weight imbalances – almost too small to notice.
But, at high speeds, the tyre can move up and down, causing vibrations, worse handling, increased tyre wearing, and reduced fuel efficiency.
When we check wheel balance, we’ll place each tyre on our mobile wheel balancing machine, which spins at different speeds to replicate real-world driving.
Any imbalances can be corrected by adding small weights to the inside or outside of the wheel rim.
After a second test, we’ll refit your wheels –ready for a smoother, safer drive.

Market-Leading Tools
The latest diagnostic tools mean we can diagnose wheel misalignments with pinpoint accuracy.
Let our mobile mechanics realign and rebalance your wheels at your location for a smoother, safer drive.
It’s a good idea to get a wheel alignment every 10,000 kilometres or so (around the same frequency as a general service). Your suspension components will wear and loosen over time, and regular realignments help keep everything running smoothly and evenly.
If your vehicle hits something, though – a large pothole, a kerb, another car – get your alignment checked as soon as possible. Even robust suspension systems, like those found on 4X4s, aren’t designed to deal with high-speed road impacts.
Getting your wheels aligned on the Gold Coast will cost you around $70–$110. If you’re driving a luxury car or 4X4, expect to pay upwards of $160.
Wheel alignment isn’t about your wheels themselves – it’s actually a result of suspension components shifting around. That can be caused by road impacts, like hitting potholes or kerbs or being in an accident. General wear-and-tear can also lead to misalignment – ball joints, steering knuckles, and the various bolts, nuts and seals in your suspension can wear out or loosen over time.
The 2 other causes we often see? Improper height and load modifications and poor-quality alignments. The easiest way to avoid those problems is to get any mods done at a quality workshop, and, for alignments, only go to mechanics that use commercial-grade diagnostic tools (like us).
