How much is your call-out fee?
We only charge for time spent working on your vehicle. We don’t do call-out fees, complex pricing, or hidden fees – and we’ll always check with you before replacing any parts.

What parts and fluids do you use?
As a one-stop mobile auto shop, we work with everything from Honda Jazzes to Hino 500 Series – and that means we use a lot of different parts and fluids. But, whatever vehicle we service or repair, our North Lakes mechanics will only ever use high-quality, manufacturer-recommended components.
All our parts are new and come with manufacturer warranties. If you want a detailed explanation of why we recommend certain brands over others – or if you’d like us to order in a specific part – ask our team when you book or talk to your mobile mechanic when they arrive.
How can you provide the same level of service as a fixed workshop?
A fixed auto workshop is basically a large shed with multiple vehicle bays. Each bay features a hoist so the mechanic can easily access the underside of the vehicle. Other tools, such as diagnostic scanners and wheel balancers, are either located in a specific part of the workshop or can be moved between different bays.
That’s not a difficult setup to replicate in a mobile workshop. We’ve optimised the floor surface of each of our vans to accommodate everything found in fixed auto workshops, making it easy for our Ipswich mechanics to deliver an exceptional level of service every time.
The only two things we need: a relatively clean vehicle and a flat, stable surface that’s suitable for industrial-grade jacks. (Most residential driveways and car parks in Ipswich are flat and stable enough for us to work on.)
Do you call before replacing parts?
Yes, we always check before replacing parts on your vehicle. The only time we won’t check with you is when we replace your vehicle’s oil filter as part of a general or logbook service. Changing a vehicle’s oil filter is a standard part of servicing, so, if you book your vehicle in with us, we’ll assume that’s something you want done (unless you tell your mechanic otherwise).
A standard car oil filter costs less than $20 and is included in your service quote.
